May kissing scene kasi ang dalawa sa Kidlat ng TV5, at iyon ang pinakaunang kissing scene ni Ritz sa kanyang showbiz career.
Sabi ni Derek tungkol dito, “Well, I am very proud that I am the first person to touch her lips.
“It’s a… magkukuwento ako kay Ritz kung paano ko tinrato. Sabi ko, ‘Doon tayo sa van ko, magpapraktis tayo.’
“Ginaganoon ko na siya talaga para... I was joking para she’d feel comfortable…
"She wouldn’t think about, ‘Oh no! I’m gonna kiss Derek later!’
“So, I was joking around with her na, ‘Let’s go to the van, let’s practice.’ You know, ginaganoon-ganoon ko siya.
“Inaasar ko siya na kinikilig siya, kasi nagkaroon siya ng goosebumps.
“Pati ako, nakilig ako sa scene. It was a really nice scene and she’s an attrractive girl, it’s hard not to be attracted to her.
“Pero, she’s very young and you have to take care of her because it’s her first.
“And of course, you also want to make an impression, that she remembers her first.
“She’d better remember her first!” ang tumatawa pang sabi ni Derek.
Dagdag niya, “And you know you have to respect her. She’s a wonderful woman and you need to respect her.
“Lahat naman ng babae dapat nirerespeto.”
